      This course can be useful for creating unique shapes for 3D printing.

      This course is designed for beginners in 3D modeling, and is part of LESAPCEMAKER’s specialized training program. It does not give free access to the 3D workshops.

      101 | CERAMICS: Introduction to Turning

      This course will introduce you to the practice of turning through the making of two turned bowls.

      This course is a prerequisite for the optional course 102 | Ceramics: Introduction to throwing, in which you will learn the finishing techniques (foot of the container).

      • types and consistencies of clay
      • familiarization with the lathe and its tools
      • steps in the manufacture of a turned ceramic container

      PRACTICAL ELEMENTS:

      • Make a turned container
      • to clean its turn as you should

      After the 101 Introduction to Filming course, the participant will have access to:

      • at the ceramic studio
      • the possibility to add your pieces to the ceramic oven on baking days

      Ce cours pratique est obligatoire pour les gens avec expérience pour l'utilisation de l’atelier et de la machine à coudre domestique. Cette formation vous permettra de vous initier à l’utilisation des machines à coudre domestiques et aux spécificités de la portion commune de l’atelier de couture de LESPACEMAKER. (Les machines industrielles ne sont pas disponibles en ce moment.) Cette formation théorique et pratique vous permettra d’utiliser une machine à coudre domestique et comprendre la base du diagnostic des anomalies (troubleshooting) reliées à la tension du fil.

      • Diagnostic des anomalies (troubleshooting) de base

      Après la formation, le participant sera habilité à :

      • Cette formation permet aux membres de LESPACEMAKER d’accéder à l’atelier commun de couture sur les machines à coudre domestiques lors des périodes supervisées en vue d’obtenir l’attestation d’autonomie.

      Liste de matériel fourni avec l’inscription :

      • Tout le matériel est fourni pour la formation à l’exception de la tenue vestimentaire et accessoires de sécurité obligatoire (protection oculaire, protection auditive, souliers couverts et vêtements ajustés)
