  • INVITATION: COURTYARD DEVELOPMENT

    SPRING CLEANING

    In anticipation of summer, it’s time to spruce up the courtyard to make it a space for chilling and enjoying the sun. Step One: THE BIG CLEANUP.

    Friday, April 23 – Cleaning, empty and dispose of the wasted trailer, runs to the ecocenter.
    Saturday April 24 – Cleaning and organizing in the yard and the container.

    Coming up in the next month: Construction of street furniture and planters. If you have design ideas, furniture to donate or other suggestions: now is the time!

    COVID MEASURES

    ? Masks are mandatory indoors, and recommended outdoors if working in close proximity to other individuals.

    ? Please respect a distance of 2 meters as much as possible.

    First LESPACEMAKER Workshop with none other than Les frères Lavoie.

    Green thumb (or no green thumb) this workshop is for you! This is the opportunity to create a superb personalized terrarium, perfect to offer as a gift for the holidays!

    Bring a jar, ideally recycle like an old empty light bulb, a fish bowl or even a wooden receptacle, and discover how to make and maintain a living terrarium. You will learn the rules that control the functioning of terrariums as well as the plants and mosses that will allow your terrarium to last longer as the ideal number of plants for their comfort, maintenance, layout and soil quality, etc.

    * The price includes the plants and decorative elements of your terrarium.

    Pouce vert (ou pas pouce vert) cet atelier est pour vous! C’est l’occasion de venir créer un superbe terrarium personnalisé, parfait pour offrir en cadeau pour les fêtes!

    Apportez un pot, idéalement recycler comme une vieille ampoule vide, un bocal de poisson ou même réceptacle en bois, et venez découvrir comment fabriquer et entretenir un terrarium vivant. Vous apprendrez les règles qui régissent le fonctionnement des terrariums ainsi que les plantes et mousses qui permettront à votre terrarium de durer plus longtemps comme le nombre idéal de plantes pour leur confort, leur entretien, leur disposition et la qualité du sol, etc.

    * Le prix inclus les plantes et éléments décoratifs de votre terrarium.

    Financement PME MTL

    A new chapter is being written. We have just received a first payment of $20,000 from PME MTL Centre-Ville for the launch of LESPACEMAKER.

    We owe considerable thanks to Jason Prince who was without a doubt the catalyst for our public fundraising efforts. We couldn’t have hoped for a better advisor to represent our project. He instantly understood not only the social value of LESPACEMAKER, but also its character and uniqueness.

    Financement PME MTL

    Voici un nouveau chapitre qui s’écrit. Nous venons tout juste de recevoir un premier versement de 20 000$ de la part de PME MTL Centre-Ville pour le démarrage de LESPACEMAKER.

    Nous devons remercier tout spécialement Jason Prince qui fut sans l’ombre d’un doute la bougie d’allumage de nos démarches de financement public. Nous n’aurions pu espérer un meilleur conseiller pour représenter notre projet. Il a compris instantanément la valeur sociale de LESPACEMAKER, mais aussi son caractère et son unicité.
